Caroline Celico has finally put to bed the reports of a fake statement she made concerning her divorce from Kaká, as earlier debunked by Pulse Sports.
This past week, Brazilian football legend Kaká has been in the news over details surrounding his divorce from Caroline Celico.
A false post about a statement made by Kaká’s ex-wife had gone viral on social media, sparking debate and conversation amongst football fans and netizens.
However, Pulse Sports reports that Celico has now taken to social media to finally break her silence, more than 8 years after parting ways with the 2007 Ballon d’Or winner.
Caroline Celico debunks fake quote about divorce from Kaká
Taking to her Instagram story, Celico shut down reports of her viral statement on her divorce from Kaká, labelling it as ‘false’ and ‘fake’, while speaking on her future with her current husband, Eduardo Scarpa Julião.
She wrote:
“For those who haven’t heard from me from a long time… or have never heard before…
“And are UNFORTUNATELY hearing some fake news, and FAKE quotes, let me update you:

“I got divorced almost 10 years ago, from those 14 years of relationship there are 2 lovely teenagers.
